Journaling Classes

Journaling classes for adults and teens. Each class follows a different mindfulness topic based on psychological research and is structured in a series of mini writing exercises.

 

I will guide you through the course from the warm-up and into the meaningful timed activities. The purpose is for you to write about the topic in different ways to better understand yourself and expand your perspective.

 

After each mini writing exercise, you will have the opportunity to share with a small group or partner. I facilitate the social sharing after each writing activity so you get a chance to talk about what you wrote and hear others too. You may simply listen if you choose to keep your writing private.   

Examples of classes include:

  • The neuroscience of goal setting

  • Cleansing from social media

  • Naming our inner voices as characters

  • Asserting your values = kindness to self, others, and world

  • Visualization prompts and what your instinctual visions reveal about the ego, emotions, and stress levels

Spending the Day Outside
Life & Wellness Coaching

Life & Wellness coaching for adults and teens. Coaching is a form of therapy that focuses on the present and where you want to be in your life. It is a partnership. 

YOUR ROLE:

  • acknowledge you are healing, growing, evolving by being nice to yourself

  • stand up for your goals and believe in the life you desire for yourself

  • understand the commitment of change as you add or eliminate habits, thoughts, and behaviors into your lifestyle

  • learn to fall in love with yourself and your life with compassion and respect

MY ROLE: 

  • recognize your strengths, self-awareness, emotional shifts, and growth

  • clarify your goals based on what you express and maintain that we develop them

  • explore mindfulness techniques that you are comfortable with such as breathwork, visualizations, journaling, in-person activities, worksheets, oracle cards, selected readings from books & articles, astrology, and more

  • support you as you heal from your wounds and embrace the learning, gifts, and exploration along the way
